Our mission
EguWallet is the European digital wallet built on eIDAS 2.0 standards — Regulation (EU) 2024/1183 — guaranteeing every European citizen the right to a free, secure and interoperable digital identity across all 27 member states.
The company
IT Eguilde SRL is a digital identity provider headquartered in Bucharest, Romania. The company developed EguWallet from the ground up based on the EUDI Architecture Reference Framework (ARF 2.5+) and OpenID4VCI, OpenID4VP and SD-JWT standards.
Technology
Certification status
eIDAS 2.0 certification in progress
EguWallet is undergoing formal certification by an accredited Conformity Assessment Body (CAB). Until certification is complete, it operates as a pilot EUDI Wallet — all technical standards (ARF 2.5+, OpenID4VCI, OpenID4VP, SD-JWT, ISO 18013-5) are fully implemented.
Active production use
EguWallet is in active production use by Ilfov County Council (ilfov.net) and Sector 2 Bucharest City Hall (sector2.eu) for digital authentication and verification.
