How to delete your EguWallet account and all associated personal data.

EguWallet respects your right to erasure under GDPR Article 17. You can delete your wallet account and request deletion of the related server-side data using either of the methods below.

Method 1: Delete from the app

Open the EguWallet app on your device.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete Wallet.
Confirm the deletion request.

This immediately removes local credentials, keys, and wallet data from the device and requests deletion of your server-side account data.

Method 2: Request deletion by email

Email privacy@eguwallet.eu with the subject line Account Deletion Request. Include the email address or phone number linked to your wallet registration so we can identify your account.

What gets deleted

Wallet registration data such as your name, email address, and phone number
Digital credentials associated with your wallet account
Device records, notification tokens, and wallet session data
Selfie and document images used during onboarding or issuance

What may be retained

eIDAS 2.0 mandatory audit records that do not contain personal data may be retained for up to 7 years where required by law.

Deletion timeline

Local device data is removed immediately when you use in-app deletion. Server-side personal data is permanently removed within 30 days of a valid deletion request.
